NEW ALBUM "SET THE DARK ON FIRE", NEW CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN!
EDENBRIDGE will release their new, 12th studio album "SET THE DARK ON FIRE" in 2025 and are currently inmidst the recordings.
Lanvall: "We are staying in our 3 years cycle and looking forward to the release of our new album "Set The Dark On Fire". After the release of our last album "Shangri-La" I was busy working on the CD/DVD release of my first symphony "The Freystadt Symphony". Then I heavily needed a short break to recharge my creative batteries. Back with fresh ideas I started working on new songs in November 2023. Super exciting processes and elements outcrystallized, taking our trademark sound to new sonic worlds. From an epic wall of sound to the fastest and heaviest parts, we ever had on an album and to big balladesque moments, the sound is multilayered as never before. So be prepared for this journey!"
In the course of the album recordings, EDENBRIDGE start a big new crowdfunding campaign. You can become part of the new album more extensive than ever!
Sabine: "We have just written parts of the lyrics on Bali and now I am already in the studio and record vocals for our 12th album. The speed of events grows and sometimes challenges me and my voice. But simultaneously I am constantly busy to bring the essence of our time quality and the things that touch me into creative expression. Inspired music with profound lyrics has always been our pretension, from where we are surely not moving away. The songs get their own dynamics during singing and turning some plans upside down. The lyrics are constantly giving me a guide, or known from our predecessor album, a compass into my hand. But more of that later. Be prepared for an extremely expressive album that will leave no stone unturned. I am happy when you are on board again, when the fire of inspiration and joy is starting to blaze in you. Onward to new shores!"

SVEN SEVENS REPLACES DOMINIK SEBASTIAN ON GUITAR!
Sven has already played the completed the "Shangri-La Tour" and proved himself as a great personality, humanly and musically, fitting in the band perfectly. Sven is also active in Crystallion together with bass player Steve.
Sven: "It is a big honor for me now to be part of one of the longest existing symphonic metal bands. I was able to gain a glimpse into the band life of Edenbridge on the "Shangri-La Tour" whihc ended much too soon last week. it was dominated by awesome gigs, professionality and a whole lot of fun. That impressed me heavily and convinced me to become part of the band. I am looking forward for times to come in Edenbridge."
Dominik was in EDENBRIDGE for 15 years and wants to concentrate on his other bands in the future. Here is a photo of both "handing over" last Saturday at the final show in Enns. We wish Dominik the best for the future!
LANVALL-The Freystadt Symphony CD/DVD! Join in the crowdfunding!
LANVALL's first symphony, "THE FREYSTADT SYMPHONY" will be released on CD/DVD in Spring 2023. The late romantic work for big orchestra, choir and electric guitar with influences from film music and rock/metal was live premiered on June 29th 2022 in the Messehalle Freistadt (Austria) and was audio and video recorded. Together with 120 musicians from the "Junge Philharmonie Freistadt" and the "Hard Chor Linz", LANVALL on electric guitar himself presented the bombastic piece, originally written as a contractual work due to the 800 years' Anniversary of the city.
